Hello,
In continuation in my last topic to get some advices regarding spots to catch Northern & Southern winds, I had additional questions:
1) for Malcesine and Pra, is it easy to rig and to launch ? I mean free places availables ?
2) the same question for Torbole ?
(I understood from your replies that it's not easy at Pier...)
3) Do you think that coming with a 90 lt board is realistic ?

Hi,
regarding the north wind, called Pelèr, the best spot is Malcesine, and also the space is much more than in Pradelafam.
anyway, as everywhere, in high season all the spots are full of surfers.
So, to surf with the north wind you have to be there very early in the morning, around 5:30 or something like this.
i think the best is take an hotel or a camping closer to the spot, so you can go out direclty and check conditions very easely.
for the south wind i think the best place in the Conca D'Oro in Torbole, but you always have to be there quite early to find place, around 9 or 10...
for the north wind that board can be realistic, for the south is better to have more volume, or a very light and wide freestyle board...
it depends also from your weight..

Have booked ealier in Riva, so will move every morning to Malcesine to check...hopfully, could sail with 90 + 5.4 :-)
